A man who was paralyzed at the age of 20 has joined his fiancée to explain how they are intimate with each other, shedding light on a topic that many people have questions about but may feel too shy to ask.

Amber explained that this was a question a lot of people wanted to know more about, so they decided to make an educational video on the subject.
She humorously advised any family members watching to skip the video if they preferred not to know the details.
Getting started
In the video, Neven gave an honest explanation, sharing that he uses an injectable medication at the base of his penis, which allows him to achieve an erection.
Amber also mentioned that this injectable isn’t covered by insurance and costs around $180 for just two small vials.
The couple then talked about different positions, with Neven jokingly referring to himself as a ‘pillow princess.’
However, he made it clear that he’s able to be in other positions too and doesn’t always have to be lying down.
They emphasized that the idea that he had to always stay on his back was ‘far from the truth.’
Neven and Amber explained that they learned helpful tips from the rehabilitation facility where Neven recovered after his accident.
Neven even introduced a special chair called the ‘intimate rider’, which helps create motion, making intimacy easier for those with limited mobility.
“You just move your neck, and it’ll move,” Neven explained, demonstrating how the chair works.
He added that the chair costs $550 but described it as ‘worth every penny’ due to the freedom it gives them.
Between the injections and the chair, Neven and Amber acknowledged that the costs for maintaining an intimate relationship can add up, but they took it in stride, saying that’s just ‘the way it goes.’

Neven admitted that making a video explaining their intimacy wasn’t something he ever imagined doing, but he felt it was worth it if it could ‘help another guy’ going through something similar.
Speaking with *Buzzfeed News*, Amber shared why they decided to talk about this topic. She said that when Neven was first injured, there was ‘no information’ available on sex after paralysis.
“Knowing what we know now, we are posting this information so we can help other young couples or individuals who are going through the same thing,” Amber added.
The couple has received a lot of praise for their openness and willingness to share such personal information.
